Nau Mai, welcome to Waikirikau Fermented Tī
Fermented Tī ? whats that your saying, More commonly known as Kombucha, we have chosen to move away from the kupu kombucha as it was Japanese, yet supposedly an ancient Chinese traditional drink, with links to Russia, and neither China nor Japan making this actual beverage world known as Kombucha.
The word Kombucha is still used today in Japan for an unfermented, hot seaweed tea, complete opposite to the Kombucha the world has come to know.
We personally felt the Japanese were entiled to have their language represented correctly so are in the process of removing and dropping the use of Kombucha..... Still the same/ similar processes resulting in fermented probiotic goodness.
